Report: Sex assault victim tells police she punched suspect to get away

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Police said the victim of a sexual assault told investigators she punched the suspect to get away from him and then the suspect allegedly punched someone in the face for trying to stop him from going back.

Stephen Holt, 28, of Baton Rouge, is accused of touching one victim in an inappropriate way and then punching another.

According to the probable cause report, the first victim punched Holt after he touched her and was able to get away from him.

The report stated the second victim told investigators Holt punched her in the face when she tried to stop him from going after the first victim for a second time.

It added the second victim said Holt left after punching her in the face.

Holt was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of indecent behavior and simple battery.

No bond was set.
