LSU freshman Ben Simmons has been named a second team Associated Press All-American.
Simmons averaged 19.2 points per game this year, grabbing 11.8 rebounds and dishing out 4.8 assists per contest for the Tigers.
The AP All-American first team consists of Denzel Valentine of Michigan State, Buddy Hield of Oklahoma, Brice Johnson of North Carolina, Malcolm Brogdon of Virginia and Tyler Ulis of Kentucky.
Jamal Murray of Kentucky was named to the third team.
