LSU continues drop in baseball polls

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - LSU has dropped out of the top ten in this week's baseball polls after losing two-out-of-three to Texas A&M in College Station.

Before traveling to play the Aggies, the Tigers (16-7, 2-4) beat UL-Lafayette and finished the week with a 2-2 record.

Texas A&M jumped Florida to take the No. 1 spot in two of this week's baseball polls.

Baseball Polls:
Baseball America: LSU dropped to No. 19 from No. 13 
(Texas A&M 1, Florida 2, Miss. State 5, Vanderbilt 6, South Carolina 7)

Perfect Game: LSU dropped to No. 17 from No. 10 
(Florida 1, Texas A&M 2, Vanderbilt 4, South Carolina 8)

D1 Baseball: LSU dropped to No. 15 from No. 10 
(Texas A&M 1, Florida 2, Vanderbilt 3, South Carolina 5)

Collegiate Baseball: LSU dropped to No. 20 from No. 15 
(Florida 1, South Carolina 2, Texas A&M 3, Vanderbilt 6, Miss. State 7)

The Tigers are back in action Tuesday night, hosting Tulane at The Box, before heading to the Plains to face Auburn (11-13, 1-5) in a three-game series starting Friday night.
