LSU baseball tries to tie the series Friday night against Texas A&M.
The Aggies (20-2, 3-1) took Game One with a 6-1 win over the Tigers Thursday night in College Station, scoring two runs in the seventh and in the eighth inning, breaking open a 2-1 ballgame. Texas A&M upped its perfect home record to 16-0.
Alex Lange (2-1, 4.50 ERA) takes the mound for the Tigers (15-6, 1-4) Friday night and will face A&M's Tyler Ivey (2-0, 2.39 ERA). Ivey has 34 strikeouts in 26.1 innings of work.
First pitch is set for 8 p.m. on the SEC Network.
Game Three is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. on SEC Network +.
LSU will pitch John Valek III (4-0, 2.20 ERA) in Game Three and A&M will start Kyle Simonds: (4-0, 3.18 ERA).
