BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Good Friday in Louisiana also means long lines for seafood, as sellers gear up for the busiest day of the year.
"Our orders through Easter Sunday are filling up and we've got a lot more on the way," said Will Boutte at Capital City Crawfish in Baton Rouge.
Boutte credits warmer temperatures this year for the increased accessibility compared to last year.
"Last year, we had to stop boiling them by Sunday. This year, we have more than enough for you," Boutte added.
Live crawfish are $2.65 per pound and boiled are $3.89 per pound at Capital City Crawfish.
