Crime Stoppers: Man accused of stealing phones, money

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for a man accused of stealing two cell phones and money.

Jamison Tate, 19, is wanted on charges of simple robbery, misdemeanor theft and failure to appear in court on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of a stolen firearm.

Deputies said Tate is accused of taking both a phone and money from a victim after agreeing to sell a phone for $175 on social media. When he met up with the victim, Tate allegedly grabbed the phone back after completing the transaction.

According to deputies, Tate is also accused of taking a phone from another victim. He allegedly asked to use the phone and then left once he had it.
