BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that left a man dead last week is now in police custody.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reported Michael Davis, 32, turned himself in to police on Wednesday.
He is suspected of shooting Tyrone Dyer, 34, on Evangeline Street near Maple Drive on March 15 around 11 p.m.
Investigators said Dyer was found dead outside his home. They added the shooting happened during a possible robbery attempt.
Davis was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery.
No bond was set.
