Tigers take a dive in updated baseball polls

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

After losing two games to Alabama this weekend, LSU has dropped out of the top ten in both the Collegiate Baseball and Baseball America polls.

The Tigers (14-5) are ranked No. 13 in Baseball America's Top 25, down from No. 7 and No. 15 in the Collegiate Baseball Top 30, down from No. 10.

LSU is No. 10 in the D1Baseball.com Top 25 and Perfect Game Top 25 polls, down from last week's rankings of  No. 7 and 6.

Florida continues to hold the No. 1 spot in all of the major polls and LSU's next SEC opponent is No. 2 in three of the four polls.

This week's schedule:
Tuesday: UL-Lafayette (12-8) at Metairie, La. (Zephyr Field) - first pitch 7 p.m.
Thursday: No. 2 Texas A&M (18-2) at College Station, Texas (Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park) - first pitch 6 p.m.
Friday: No. 2 Texas A&M (18-2) at College Station, Texas (Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park) - first pitch 8 p.m.
Saturday: No. 2 Texas A&M (18-2) at College Station, Texas (Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park) - first pitch 2 p.m.
