BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Blake Dean is, without question, one of the best players in the history of LSU baseball.
Dean starred with the Tigers from 2007-10 and ranks in the top five of most all-time offensive categories with the school.
The 28-year-old Dean is now proving he's a pretty talented head coach as well with the UNO Privateers. In his first year with the Privateers, Dean has his squad 15-5 overall and 4-2 in the Southland Conference.
Those 15 wins have already surpassed UNO's total from last year and we haven't even flipped the calendar to April yet.
Dean agreed to wear a wireless microphone for the Privateers' game at LSU on Wednesday, as the slugger squared off against his mentor, Paul Mainieri, and his old school.
The video above shot by Derron Daquano captures many of the sights and sounds of that evening, as Dean gave us a special look into the Privateers' dugout. Enjoy!
