LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) - All public schools in Ascension, Livingston and Tangipahoa parishes will re-open Tuesday.
All three school systems have been closed since Friday due the recent floods.
Officials say that due to the fact that there is still high water remaining in some areas in the parish, bus routes will be modified. Bus drivers in Ascension Parish will attempt to reach parents with students on bus routes that will be effected to discuss options, according to school officials.
Ascension Parish officials understand that some students and employees will not be able to come in because of flooding. In Tangipahoa and Livingston parishes, students who are unable to attend classes due to the flooding will be excused.
