BIRMINGHAM, AL (WAFB) -

World-famous comedian Kevin Hart met up with the LSU Women's Track and Field team outside of a hotel in Birmingham, Alabama on Thursday before the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Naturally, Hart's competitive side showed as he challenged LSU sprinter and two-time All-American Jada Martin to a 50-yard dash. In the video posted to Facebook by Hart, he is seen soundly beating the LSU track star before gloating to the camera, jokingly saying that he "won a scholarship" to LSU.

However, taking a look at several alternate angles at the start line, the 5-foot-4 comedian is seen cracking jokes, staring Martin down, and taking everyone off guard by bolting to head start as the race is about to begin.

Remember, Martin is a two-time All-SEC and All-American sprinter and won gold at the 2014 IAAF Junior World Championships in the 4x100 relay. Not many could beat her without bending the rules at least a little bit. In Kevin Hart's own words, we guess you could say that "she wasn't ready!"
