Crime Stoppers: Woman wanted by BRPD for allegedly hitting victim with car

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Baton Rouge Police are asking for help finding a suspect in an August 2015 murder.

41-year-old Yashica Smith is wanted for attempted 2nd degree murder. In August 2015, Baton Rouge Police say Smith was involved in a verbal argument with a male victim.

Shortly after the argument, Smith allegedly struck the victim with a vehicle as they were walking in the 2800 block of Rosenwald Avenue.

BRPD officials say the victim suffered serious bodily injuries as a result of being hit by a car.

Anyone with information on Yashica Smith’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
