Inclement weather causes several closures across East Baton Rouge Parish

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Due to inclement weather, all East Baton Rouge City-Parish employees will be dismissed from work at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 10, according to Mayor Kip Holden's office.

Due to the state government offices being closed Friday, the City-Parish offices will also be closed on Friday. 

The 19th Judicial District Court was open Thursday, but will be closed Friday.

Due to inclement weather, all locations of the East Baton Rouge Parish Library will be closed at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10. Due to the threat of severe weather, all locations also will be closed Friday, March 11.

Officials with CATS said they will continue to run regular service as long as weather permits. If services have to be suspended, the organization will make an announcement. People can check CATS website or call customer care at (225) 389-8282 for more information.
