BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge contractor is behind bars, accused of taking money without doing any work.
The Baton Rouge Police Department arrested Bradley Broussard, 24, after a man said he paid nearly $4,000 for granite installation.
According to the probable cause report, a contract for the work was signed by the victim and Broussard on Jan. 11, 2016. The victim said 45 days passed without any work done.
Investigators reported Broussard used the money to pay off debt.
He is charged with contractor fraud. His bond is set at $8,000.
