Police searching for attempted murder suspects in 5 Starr Daiquiris shooting

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department are trying to identify two men who are accused of attempted murder of a 25-year-old man at 5 Starr Daiquiris on Florida Boulevard on Feb. 20.

According to police, the 25-year-old was kicked out of the bar around 12:30 a.m. after a disturbance. As he was leaving, police say he was followed out into the parking lot by two men, who were not involved in the initial disturbance. 

The victim and the two suspects got into a brawl before the victim was shot multiple times.

The victim was taken to a hospital with life threatening injuries, but since has stabilized and is expected to survive.
