The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for the entire WAFB viewing area. The flood watch will remain in effect until Saturday.
The Storm Prediction Center indicates there is a moderate to slight risk of severe weather for the WAFB viewing area.
WAFB meteorologists report the latest forecast calls for rainfall amounts ranging from three to six inches on average, but could be much higher in some areas. There could also be a chance of severe thunderstorms on Thursday.
