BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - LSU head coach Les Miles addressed the media after the football team held its first of several spring practices Monday.
The Tigers will practice five more times before taking some time off for Spring Break starting on March 18. LSU will head back to the field on March 29 for nine more practices ending with the National L-Club Spring Game on Saturday, April 16.
LSU returns 18 starters to a team that finished 9-3 and will also welcome a top five recruiting class later this summer. The program has two new assistant coaches with Jabbar Juluke working with the running backs and Dameyune Craig working with the wide receivers.
Two scrimmages will be held at 11 a.m. in Tiger Stadium on the two Saturdays leading up to the spring game, which will be also be held in the stadium at 3 p.m.
LSU students will get a chance to watch the football team practice before the spring game on Thursday, April 14 at 4 p.m.
