BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Students at LSU are attempting to dance for 26 hours straight for charity in a dance marathon.

Students will be required to stay on their feet the entire time.

"We go from 5:48 p.m. on Friday night all the way to 8 p.m. on Saturday night," says Internal Director, Dan Modzelewski. "So we're here for a long time and we want everyone to be excited because we actually reveal our fundraising total at the end of the event."

All money raised by this event will go toward helping patients and their families at the Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital.
