BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The 26th Annual Trash and Treasures Sale will take place this weekend at the old Mervyn's department store in Cortana Mall.
The sale will take place Friday until 4 p.m., 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday when all of the merchandise will be 50 percent off.
"We have lots of new stuff to choose from this year," says Cynthia Galmon, Chairman of the Attic Trash and Treasure Sale. "Come out. Have a great time. Pick out your select items and enjoy the day."
Money from this weekend's sales will go towards local charities.
The main charity that will be receiving funds from the sale this year will be the Greater Baton Rouge Hope Academy.
Some of the other charities that will receive funds from this year's sale will be the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity and Hope Ministries.
