BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities said reports of dog fighting behind an abandoned house resulted in the arrest of a teen.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Prison reported Damion Parker, 17, of Baton Rouge, was booked Friday morning on a charge of dog fighting. His bond was set at $5,000.
According to the probable cause report, the incident happened on February 23. The report stated officers found a dog tied to a fence that appeared to have been involved in a fight.
The report added the caller indicated there were three people allegedly participating in the dog fighting, but investigators have not identified any other suspects.
