LSU looking to bounce back against the Gators

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - LSU is looking to bounce back at the PMAC Saturday night when they host the Florida Gators.

The Tigers (16-12, 9-6) are on a three-game slide, losing to Alabama at home, 78-69, before losing to Tennessee, 81-65, and Arkansas, 85-65, on the road.

The Gators (17-11, 8-7) enter the PMAC with a two-game losing streak of their own. Florida lost a close one to South Carolina, 73-69, before getting handled by Vanderbilt, 87-74.

Florida is averaging 73 points per game and are shooting .419 from the field.

Dorian Finney-Smith leads the team in scoring with a 14.9 points per game average. KeVaughn Allen is scoring 11.5 points per game and John Egbubu adds 10.1 points per contest for Florida.

Ben Simmons continues to lead the Tigers with 19.5 points per game, 11.9 rebounds a game, five assist per contest and 35 minutes a game.

Craig Victor is scoring 12.5 points per game, Antonio Blakeney is scoring 11.4 and Tim Quarterman is scoring 10.5 points per contest for LSU.

Tipoff is set for Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. in the PMAC. The game will air on ESPN.
