BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Students at the Inspire Charter Academy participated in the school's annual wax museum Friday morning.
Second-grade students researched influential figures in African American history and transformed into them for the event.
"A lot of times they say the research is a lot, but they love dressing up and get very excited. They come on cloud nine," says Second Grade teacher Dana Price. "They love participating in it and dressing and, you know, being that person."
The students then presented what they learned to an audience of their parents and peers.
