BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A strange scene outside of a Baton Rouge chemical plant ended in an arrest Sunday morning.
Deputies with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office say 38-year-old Charles Cooper, of Baker, was found driving in and out of the Formosa Chemical Plant. Cooper was pulled over by a sheriff's deputy wearing only a shirt and socks, according to an EBRSO probable cause report.
According to witnesses questioned by the EBRSO, Cooper was screaming for help because he believed someone was in his vehicle.
EMS was called to the scene to evaluate Cooper, but they found he was not in need of medical attention after evaluation.
Cooper was arrested and faces an obscenity charge.
