BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A 12-year-old will take the trip of a lifetime thanks to some generous local groups.
The mother of cancer survivor Brayden Holden reached out to Dreams Come True of Louisiana, which partners with the Rotolos' Foundation.
They surprised him Wednesday night with a special ceremony and a trip to Atlantis in the Bahamas.
"I'm feeling pretty good about it," Brayden said. "Happy that they did this, and I'm excited to go."
"I'm looking forward to relaxing and him having some fun. Having a good time," said Leah Holden, Brayden's mother.
Brayden's mom said he has been in remission. In fact, they recently took a trip to St. Jude's Hospital and all the tests came back clear.
