BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - There have been four homicides so far this year in East Baton Rouge Parish. Three of them have been classified as murder and the other is classified as a negligent homicide.
The number of murders so far this year is down by half compared to this same time last year.
The most recent murder happened Saturday when 23-year-old Ryan Armwood was shot to death outside his home on Fairchild Street around 4 p.m.
Police have not made any arrests in any of the murder investigations, but there was an arrest in the negligent homicide case.
