LSU may have lost a heartbreaker to Oklahoma on Saturday, but the strong showing moved the Tigers up one spot to a No. 10 seed in the South Regional according to this week's Bracketology by ESPN's Joe Lunardi.
If the Tigers played today, they would face No. 7 seed Utah, with the winner likely to play the Virginia Cavaliers.
Oklahoma is the No. 1 seed in the South Regional, Virginia is No. 2, Maryland is No. 3 and Providence is No. 4.
LSU (13-8, 6-2) travels to Auburn on Tuesday to face the other SEC West Tigers (9-11, 3-5). Tipoff for the contest is set for 6 p.m. on the SEC Network.
