Crime Stoppers: Two wanted, one arrested for allegedly cashing forged business checks

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Investigators are hoping people recognize two men accused of cashing forged business checks.

Greater Baton Rouge Crime Stoppers reported Willie Brown, 42; and Roy Campbell, 50; are wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department. Chase Edwards, 31; was wanted, but authorities say that he has been captured.

Police said they cashed forged checks at a Baton Rouge bank on Dec. 7, 2015. They added the checks were all from the same business account, but none of the suspects were employed at the business on the checks.

According to detectives, Edwards cashed a check for $5,700, Brown cashed a check for $2,865 and Campbell cashed one for $2,859.

Brown is 5’11” tall and weighs 165 pounds. Campbell is 6’0” tall and weighs 200 pounds.
