BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities said a Houma man failed to pay Louisiana income taxes on hundreds of thousands of dollars in income.
The Louisiana Department of Revenue reported Vincent Malbrough Jr. did not file his state tax returns from 2009 through 2013.
According to reports, Malbrough earned more than $250,000 during that time frame and owes the state nearly $24,000 in taxes.
He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of criminal penalty for evasion of tax and penalty for failure to file.
According to jail records, he was released on a $3,500 bond Thursday morning.
