BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The mother of former LSU star Jeremy Hill was back in Baton Rouge Tuesday with big news.
Lisa Hill told a class of Southeast Middle School students about a foundation she and Jeremy, a running back who currently plays for the Cincinnati Bengals, will establish in northern Kentucky. It is to help the homeless.
Hill also encouraged students to study hard and overcome challenges.
"Jeremy has a huge heart for children and education. Last year, we supported permanently ill children to come to the Bengals games and things of that nature," Lisa Hill said. "So we have a whole list of things we are going to be just branching out and doing."
Hill said the first goal of the Jeremy Hill Foundation is to build a house in Baton Rouge by year's end for someone in need.
