BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Before LSU hosts No. 1 Oklahoma on Saturday, the Tigers face the Georgia Bulldogs on Tuesday in a must-win SEC contest.

Georgia comes to the PMAC with an 11-6 overall record. The Bulldogs are 4-3 in SEC play, winning two in a row and three of their last four SEC games.

The Bulldogs have a balanced scoring offense led by Yante Maten (16.2), JJ Frazier (15.7), Kenny Gaines (13.9) and Charles Mann (9.9).

Maten also leads the team in rebounds (7.9/game) and blocks with 31 on the season.

Georgia averages just under 70 points per game, while giving up 67 points.

LSU is 12-7 and 5-2 in the SEC. The Tigers have also won three of their last four SEC games.

Ben Simmons leads the Tigers offense with 19.6 points per game and 12.6 rebounds per contest.

A win Tuesday night against Georgia would go a long way in starting the buildup to Saturday's game against No. 1 Oklahoma.

Georgia and LSU tipoff at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
