BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police are hoping someone recognizes the man suspected of robbing a store Wednesday night.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported it happened at the Akasha Market on Bob Petit Boulevard around 10:30 p.m.

Sgt. Don Coppola Jr. with BRPD said the suspect walked up to the counter with some items he pretended he was going to buy, but instead reached across the counter, grabbed money from the register, ran out of the store and drove off in a white four-door car.

He added no one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as medium build and was wearing a sweatshirt that read "American Hustler" across the front.
