Police are crediting a Crime Stoppers tip with helping them arrest a suspected thief.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported the tip led them to the whereabouts of Robert Joseph Jr., 34, Tuesday night. Joseph was wanted on charges of felony theft and unauthorized use of access card as theft.

He allegedly made 54 fraudulent transactions between August 2014 and August 2015 using a Sam's credit card for LNS Foods, where he had worked since early 2014. The transactions totaled $8,153.55 and included televisions, laptops, liquor and food.
