BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - LSU running back Leonard Fournette did not make it to New York for the 2015 Heisman Trophy Award Ceremony, but early odds from Bovada say he will be there for the 2016 presentation.
Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson is the early favorite to win the award at 9-2, while Fournette and Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey are both listed at 5-1 to win the trophy.
The list includes six quarterbacks, six running backs and one wide receiver. The SEC leads all conferences in the early predictions with five players.
