Baton Rouge Metro Council selects two people to fill vacated spots

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Metro Council is back at full strength after the remaining council members selected two people to fill spots vacated during last year's election.

Former NAACP President Lamont Cole was picked by the council to fill C. Denise Marcelle's seat and attorney Erika Green was picked for Ronnie Edwards' seat.

Cole and Green will fill those seats until the end of the year when an election is held.
