Microwaved Glazed Donut

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Yields: 2 Donuts

Ingredients for Donut:

1 large egg, beaten

2 tbsps granulated sugar

1 tbsp brown sugar

¼ tsp vanilla

¼ cup all-purpose flour

2 tbsps butter, melted

Method for Donut:

Spray the inside of a small bowl and the outside of a shot glass with cooking spray. Place shot glass in the middle of the bowl then set aside. In a medium mixing bowl, add egg, sugars and vanilla then whisk to combine. Using a spatula, gently stir in flour until combined. Pour half the batter into prepared bowl around shot glass. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Once it is cool enough to handle, remove shot glass and invert bowl to release donut. Clean bowl and shot glass and repeat the process with remaining batter. Cover donuts with prepared glaze before serving.

Ingredients for Glaze:

¼ cup milk

1 tsp vanilla

2 cups powdered sugar

Method for Glaze:

In a medium saucepan, combine milk and vanilla. Heat over low heat until warm. Sift in powdered sugar and whisk slowly until combined. Remove glaze from heat and pour over prepared donuts.
