Tipoff set for LSU and Oklahoma

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WAFB) -

Tipoff for LSU's home basketball game against the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, Jan. 30, has been set for 4 p.m. on ESPN.

The contest is part of the third annual Big 12/SEC Challenge.

No. 2 Oklahoma (13-1) is led by Buddy Hield, who is is averaging 26.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. The Sooners only loss this season was a triple overtime thriller against No. 1 Kansas. 

Eight of the 10 games will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2 and two games will air on ESPNU.
