Baton Rouge man arrested, accused of selling drugs out of girlfriend's apartment

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A Crime Stoppers tip led to the arrest of a Baton Rouge man accused of selling drugs from his girlfriend's apartment.

24-year-old Jeffery Walker was arrested after BRPD officials made contact with him outside of the apartment. A Baton Rouge Police Probable Cause report says Walker was found to have six bags containing a total of 39 grams of marijuana on his person.

A search of the suspect's girlfriend's apartment led investigators to find 1.7 pounds of marijuana, 43.7 grams of crystal meth, 8 pills of MDMA, 5 doses of hydrocodone, 52 doses of alprazolam, $3,214, as well as multiple guns.

Walker was charged with numerous drug possession with intent to distribute charges, as well as possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance.

Walker was released from jail on a $99,000 bond.
