BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - After a month of mostly negativity in November, the LSU football program is picking up steam towards the 2016 season.
The Tigers first disposed of Texas Tech 56-27 in the Texas Bowl, before losing their defensive coordinator Kevin Steele and then upgrading immediately in the eyes of most by replacing him with Dave Aranda from the Wisconsin Badgers.
After landing a pair of verbal commitments over the weekend, the Tigers are No. 1 in several national recruiting rankings, as signing day quickly approaches in early February.
So, what do we know about Aranda? Will LSU ever truly trust quarterback Brandon Harris? Will the Tigers ever diversify their offensive approach? Can Leonard Fournette win The Heisman Trophy next season? And, can LSU, as a team, be elite again?
I tackled all of these topics with former LSU Tiger and veteran broadcaster Gordy Rush in this video. Enjoy!
