Traffic patrols to intensify for busy holiday commute on Sunday

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Louisiana State Police officials say they will hit the streets even harder in search for anyone breaking traffic laws in the coming days.

Motorists coming home after the busy holiday season should know that troopers will be looking for seat belt use, impaired drivers, aggressive drivers, distracted drivers, as well as anyone or anything that can create a hazardous situation on the road.

If you see any hazardous driving conditions like aggressive or impaired drivers, or need to report a roadway emergency, you can so by dialing *LSP (*577) in order to connect to the nearest state police troop.
