BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Police have identified the suspected trigger man in connection with a shooting that left a man dead Monday evening and arrested two other suspects.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said Glenn Spears, 27, of Baton Rouge, shot and killed George Reusch Jr., 27, of Prairieville. He is wanted on charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal use of a weapon.

Police arrested Gabrielle Rogers, 25, of Port Allen, and D'mon Spears, 23, of Baton Rouge, on Thursday. They both face a charge of principal to first-degree murder.

Authorities reported the shooting happened in the parking lot near Hooters off College Drive a little before 7:30 p.m. Police said Glenn Spears, D'Mon Spears and Rogers were meeting up with Reusch for a drug deal. They added Reusch was shot during the exchange.

Glenn Spears was reportedly seen in Reusch's car by a witness as a single gunshot was heard. The witness told police Glenn Spears then got out of the vehicle and left the scene with his brother, D'mon Spears. The witness reportedly told investigators the two men ran toward Corporate Boulevard. According to police, Reusch died on the way to the hospital.

Reusch's vehicle went through the fence of the parking lot and ended up hitting another car on College Drive.

Rogers and D'mon Spears were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Rogers was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile because investigators said she had her 5-year-old son in the car while allegedly driving the suspects before and after the shooting.

Anyone with any information on Glenn Spears' whereabouts is asked to call Violent Crimes Unit at (225) 389-4869 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
