LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) - The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Department delivered presents to area kids Friday.
Deputies filled their patrol cars for their annual Christmas Crusade to help those who have fallen on hard times in the parish.
Sheriff Jason Ard says that they've been delivering toys for about 30 years as a way to give back.
One resident, Autumn Hall, says that she appreciates the help to be able to give the children what they want.
"They probably wouldn't have had as much stuff," says Hall. "Might have gotten one or a few things, but not everything they wanted."
LPSO collected enough to give gifts to about 1200 children this year.
