Crime Stoppers: 2 armed robbery suspects captured

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Police have captured two suspects accused of robbing two Baton Rouge businesses. 

According to police, a Dollar General store on Plank Road was robbed at gunpoint on September 22. The suspect in the robbery was a black male. 

Police say a Chevron gas station on Airline Hwy was also robbed at gunpoint on October 6. The suspects in that robbery was a black male and a black female. 

Crime Stoppers received a tip identifying the two suspects, Nolan Marshall and Ava Harris, after photos from the Chevron robbery were released. During the investigation, police were able to connect Marshall to the robbery at the Dollar General. 

Marshall was wanted on two counts of armed robbery with a fire arm and Harris was also wanted wanted for one count of armed robbery with a firearm. 

After the Crime Stoppers fugitives were featured on WAFB Thursday night, the duo were arrested. Early Friday morning, officers received a tip the two were at a location on N. Foster Drive. Officers responded and arrested them both.
