Man accused of disfiguring, raping woman arrested again for second assault

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge man has been arrested for a second time after being accused of attacking and attempting to rob a woman.

Police originally arrested 22-year-old Willie Hill III on December 9 after being accused of disfiguring and raping a woman. He was released from East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a $160,000 bond on December 16.

According to court documents from the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, detectives were called to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital where the victim was being treated. The woman told deputies she was contacted through her ad by a person who requested she come to a home in the 11000 block of N. Engelwood Drive.

When the woman arrived at the location, she noticed the home was vacant and saw a man carrying a flashlight and a handgun come from behind a shed that was attached to the carport, according to deputies.

The victim told deputies that the man demanded money from her and hit her in the hand, causing fractures. According to the report, the man allegedly fired the gun twice into to the air and left the scene, jumping the fence and running through backyards.

During the investigation, detectives learned another woman from was contacted to come to the same location on November 16. The victim in the first attack told deputies a man armed with a flash light and a black handgun struck her and used an acetylene torch and a metal pipe to burn and disfigure a woman before he raped her multiple times.

Hill was positively identified by the first victim and was arrested and charged with aggravated rape, aggravated second-degree battery, attempted armed robbery and false imprisonment while armed with a dangerous weapon.

The second victim also positively identified Hill, and deputies also found ammo and shoes that matched evidence found at the scene during a search of Hill's residence.

He was been booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on additional charges of armed robbery and aggravated second-degree battery. His bond has been set at $40,000.
