NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) - Real estate heir Robert Durst's plea deal has been delayed.
Court records from New Orleans show that the deal still exists with federal prosecutors but Durst will not sign the deal this year.
All of the attorneys involved in the case told a judge Tuesday that scheduling conflicts stand in the way of going to trial before January 11.
The judge had rescheduled the trial for March.
Durst is currently facing a weapons charge. He is also accused of killing a woman in Los Angeles.
