BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Children at the McMains Children Developmental Center received a visit from Santa Claus Tuesday.
Children at the center were treated to gifts and face paint as a reward for their hard work throughout the year.
Al Azar Grotto, who organized the event, says that it is one of their highlights of the year.
"My favorite part is actually riding them around in the dune buggy and having them see Santa and seeing the kids and their eyes and seeing their faces light up," says Grotto. "It's most joyous to see that than anything else we do."
The center that treats children with developmental and learning disabilities has been putting on the Christmas party for more than 30 years.
