BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities have identified the suspected trigger man in a shooting that left one man dead late Wednesday night.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office reported Karlos Ghoram, 20, is wanted on charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery.
Deputies said Lawrence Bennett, 17, is wanted on charges of principal to first-degree murder and principal to armed robbery.
The pair is suspected of being involved in the shooting that took the life of Osval Andrades, 21, of Baton Rouge. It happened on Tracy Avenue around 11 p.m.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested and booked on charges of principal to first-degree murder and principal to armed robbery. His name was not released.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ghoram and Bennett is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
This is the 88th shooting victim for East Baton Rouge Parish in 2015. There were a total of 73 homicides for the entirety of 2014.
The latest shooting happened in the 70814 zip code. It is the third homicide investigation this year for that area. There were three homicides in that zip code last year.
The case is being investigated by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office. That agency has investigated 19 homicides so far this year. EBRSO investigated a total of 11 homicides for the entirety of 2014.
Including the latest investigation, there are a total of 38 open homicide investigations in EBR Parish.
