LSU places three on the All-SEC Freshman Team

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WAFB) - Three Tigers have been named to the 2015 SEC All-Freshman Football Team announced on Thursday.

Offensive lineman William Clapp, running back Derrius Guice and defensive lineman Arden Key were all named to the squad.

Clapp started all 11 games for the Tigers, helping the LSU offense rush for 2705 yards, including 1741 by running back Leonard Fournette.

Guice rushed for 397 yards this season, averaging 8.4 yards per carry. The freshman from Catholic High School caught three passes and averaged 23.2 yards per kickoff return, including a spectacular 75 yard return against Texas A&M.

Key finished with 38 tackles, 17 solo, and five sacks. He also had nine quarterback hurries and one fumble recovery for the LSU defense.
