CHURCH POINT, La (WAFB) -

Authorities in Acadia Parish are asking for help in finding 10 Bully Pit puppies that were taken from their home.

Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon says the puppies were taken from a residence in the 1000 block of West Plaquemine in Church Point. Investigators say the puppies were taken between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The puppies are three weeks old, so officials say their return is important to their survival. They are described as being chocolate in color.

Anyone with information about the missing puppies are asked to contact Acadia Parish authorities at 337-788-8720. A $1,000 reward is being offered for their safe return.

We have a slideshow of the missing puppies above this story. The 10th puppy’s photo was not available to the media.
