BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office announced the seizure of 40 pounds of cocaine Tuesday morning.
An EBRSO deputy patrolling I-12 Eastbound conducted a traffic stop on a bus. The deputy and his K-9 unit searched the bus and found an untagged bag with 40 pounds of cocaine inside.
The EBRSO says that the cocaine carried a street value of $1.8 million.
This incident is still under investigation, and no arrests were reported.
