BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge Police say they have arrested a 14-year-old in connection with the shooting death of a 16-year-old.
The shooting happened at a home in the 2300 block of Spain Street around 1:15 p.m. Friday.
When police arrived, they found 16-year-old Kejohn Carroll shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives believe that the two teens were playing with guns at the home when Carroll was accidentally shot.
The 14-year-old has been booked into Juvenile Detention where he has been charged with negligent homicide and illegal use of a weapon.
